Villa Merienne is at Santa Maria di Leuca, the most south-eastern point of Italy. It is only 900 meters away from where the Adriatic Sea meets the Ionian Sea. This is a stunning area with many gorgeous beaches, beautiful whitewashed houses, scenic villages, caves, churches, and many other attractions. You could simply laze around and enjoy a relaxing vacation or explore the area or even go on a sea cruise. It will surely be a memorable Italian vacation.

Bedrooms: The house has 4 bedrooms that are built over three levels. The ground floor has one double bedroom. Bedroom #1 on the middle floor is ensuite. It has a double and a single sofa bed. Bedroom #2 on this level has a double with an adjacent bathroom. Take the stairs to reach the top floor and you will reach the triple bedroom – it has a double bed and a single bed. They are airy and spacious. The finest Italian marble works add the local touch.

The first and second-floor bedrooms come with large windows that offer fantastic nature views, while the ground-floor rooms are good for guests with mobility issues and those who don’t want to climb stairs.

Outdoors: The house is in a 3000 square meter private estate that has an 800 square meter garden. You will see wooded pines and other trees everywhere with a scenic garden path meandering through the wide, open spaces. Early morning and late afternoon are both good times for exploring the property. You will find many birds nesting in the trees. Terraces and balconies provide good views of the grounds as well. The house also has a terrace with a sitting area, perfect for those who want to get away from the group and enjoy a moment of complete peace.

Indoors: The heart of Villa Merienne is its middle floor where you will find spacious lounging and dining spaces. There is satellite television, so you can see a movie or your favorite sports team in action if you like. Inside the house, there are plenty of modern comforts and conveniences like air-conditioning, a barbecue, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. You can have food both inside and outside, under the covered balcony. The well-equipped kitchen has many modern appliances. There are five bathrooms in the villa, all with showers. One of them has a tub.

Staff Quarters: This is a private villa so all the facilities and amenities will be exclusively only for you and your group for the duration of your stay. Electricity, towels, bed linen, air-conditioning, additional cot, and final cleaning are all included with your stay at Villa Merienne. You can also for interim cleaning or a professional chef at an additional cost. The villa owner can also help you plan your travel and make the arrangements for an extra charge.

Location: This rental property is only 1.2 kilometers from a sandy beach in Santa Maria di Leuca. The beautiful coastline is often called the Maldives of Salento because of its stunning beauty. Others refer to the area as the heel of the boot as it is the most south-eastern point of Italy. Go on a cruise to take in the sights of the legendary Sea Caves of Salento’s coast.
