The property is very modern and finished beautifully, built with local materials such as a natural façade, sandstone pillars, and is surrounded by a charming Mediterranean garden.

The villa owner has done a wonderful job of retaining many of its original designs and architectural elements while introducing modern features for the comfort of the guests. You can dine outdoors or indoors. You can cook or order food from outside. The bedrooms are all air-conditioned. Guests love to gather around its private pool and enjoy the wide gardens.

Bedrooms: Villa Masseria Giovanni is a large house with 8 bedrooms for 19 guests. Three of them have one double bed each and a French sofa bed – they can each sleep three guests. The five other bedrooms all have king beds. All of them have blackout curtains, wardrobes, dressing areas, study tables, a refrigerator with a mini bar, and mosquito nets. All 8 bedrooms are air-conditioned and ensuite, so there is no need to queue up. The beds are very comfortable, thanks to the high-quality linen and extra pillows. The whitewashed walls and minimalist décor provide a soothing effect, which will surely help you fall asleep quickly. All ensuite bathrooms have showers, bidets, washbasins, and hair dryers.
Outdoors: A highlight of Villa Masseria Giovanni is its huge outdoor area that comprises an inviting private pool where you can swim anytime you want. Steps lead down gently into the pool. The poolside has many loungers with pergolas, so there is never any hurry to catch the best spot. It is a private property where everything will be exclusively for you and your group anyway. Just beside the pool terrace, you will find a wonderful grassy lawn. Perhaps you may want to host a picnic lunch here during your stay. At another corner of the terrace, there is a huge shaded area that has a long outdoor dining table and a lounging area with comfortable sofas and rattan chairs. There are other green corners and smaller terraces too in this rental property. This is why the house never feels crowded, even for a group of 19.
Indoors: Throughout the interior of this luxury villa, you will find pietra leccese finishing touches, white walls, and typical dry-stone walls, which are characteristic of the countryside houses of the region. Stone walls, arched doorways, and antique touches lend a classic and heritage feel, which makes the home unique. The wooden front door opens into the living area under the barrel and star-vaulted ceiling. It is a large room with armchairs, sofas, and a fireplace. You will find quite a few dining areas. Some of them can sit all the guests, for a welcome or a farewell dinner, while others are for smaller groups. There is a huge kitchen as well with an island, grills, and many appliances.
Staff Quarters: All the bedrooms, the living room, and the dining areas are air-conditioned. Of course, you can also dine outside if you want. Each bedroom has a mini-bar. You can cook, use the grill and the barbecue, or ask for chef services. The bathrooms have hair dryers and towels. There is a washing machine, iron, and ironing board. Location: Masseria Giovanni is located in the countryside of Martano, the heart of the Grecìa Salentina. It is close to the Adriatic Sea. Martano is a beautiful town with many cobblestoned streets and ancient houses. The town center, only 1.5 kilometers away, has many restaurants and shops. You can walk down to the Enoteca Divino wine bar. You can drive down to the closest beach in only 15 minutes.
