This unique luxury property was built by a group of Mexican artisans in 1985 and reflects features of Central American architecture including vaulted brick ceilings, delicate iron chandeliers and terracotta tiling. Bedrooms: Though outside the villa’s stone walls the glorious Caribbean sun shines down on a verdant, island paradise, the interiors at Villa Maison Mexicaine will transport you to beautiful Mexico. The two bedrooms are no different. High, brick ceilings, terracotta floor tiles and wall decorations reflecting Central American aesthetics create an ambience with is completely distinct on Saint Barth. The master bedroom features an elegant, four-poster double bed, as well as a TV which stands on a vintage-style writing desk. The second bedroom is equally chic and comfortable. Here you’ll find two single beds which are convertible to a king-size, making this either the ideal kids’ room or the perfect sanctuary for a second couple. For your ultimate comfort and convenience, both rooms are ensuite.

Outdoors: Villa Maison Mexicaine has an extremely generous courtyard terrace, allowing you to spend long afternoons enjoying the gorgeous Caribbean sunshine in style. Like the rest of the house, the terrace is designed in a traditional Mexican style with beautiful tiling and earthy stone floors. At the centre of the courtyard is a glistening swimming pool, situated beside a shaded outdoor living room, furnished with luxurious sofas and ottomans. Elsewhere on the property, you’ll find a large Petanque court, where you can challenge your fellow travellers to a competition under the sun.

Indoors: The main room within the delightfully vintage interiors at Villa Maison Mexicaine is the open-plan living and dining area. This cool sanctuary offers welcome respite from the bright sun outside, in which you can lounge on the plush sofas and armchairs while playing a game with your family, watching TV or listening to one of your fellow travellers playing the piano. Culinary-inclined guests will be pleased to hear about Villa Maison Mexicaine’s fully-equipped modern kitchen, which features all of the up-to-date appliances, including a stove, oven, microwave and fridge/freezer, that you’ll need to delight your family with a home-cooked Caribbean or Mexican meal.
