Bedrooms: Enjoy island life. Go on a sailing trip, speed down the world’s steepest zipline, enjoy the sun, party, shop, visit a casino, and at the end of the day, retreat to the luxurious comfort of your bedroom, which has either king beds or twins. The house has 4 bedrooms for 8 guests. They all provide lovely ocean views. All of them are air-conditioned and ensuite.

Minimalist décor and light color tones provide a soothing touch, which will help you fall asleep quickly and wake up refreshed. Two bedrooms open to the sea, the third open to the lush garden, and the fourth leads to the pool terrace. The modern bathrooms have beautiful tiled walls and showers. One of them has a private exit to the beach.

Outdoors: Take a look at the villa’s outdoor area and you will understand why L’Ecume des Jours is considered a top-rated vacation rental. The house is posh and modern but its main attraction is the beachfront location. At high tide, waves splash on the boundary wall – the beach is so close. The sand extends into the garden, crossing the wired fence. The terrace has a private swimming pool and a Jacuzzi. Loungers with umbrellas are placed on the poolside. There is a shaded corner with plenty of seating areas. It also has a blind that you can pull down at midday. The outdoor dining area is under the shade of a tall tree.

As you drive up to the property, you will see many palms, bougainvilleas, and other plants. The lush garden occupies the entire backside of the villa and also extends all the way to the Punta de Canonnier Circle.

Indoors: Inside, you will find a state-of-the-art kitchen, which has all the modern appliances you need to cook a mouth-watering gourmet meal. It even has an ice machine for your cool drink and a dishwasher for your convenience. Then there are the spacious living and dining areas, both luxuriously appointed, so you can make the most of your indoor time. There is even a small library and a work desk. Several paintings and objects of art decorate the villa’s interior but the choice of color and theme always remains nautical.

Protruding from the living room towards the pool terrace, you will find the formal dining area. It seats up to 5 guests. There is also a breakfast table.

Staff Quarters: L’Ecume des Jours is a self-service luxury property. But you will always be well taken care of. The property manager stays on site. A gardener, pool cleaner, and maintenance person will do their work every day. You will receive a welcome basket on arrival. Feel free to use the television, air-conditioning, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, and laundry room. For anything else, you may always approach the property manager or our concierge team. A range of services is available for a charge.

Location: Villa L’Ecume des Jours occupies perhaps one of the most cherished locations on the island. You have the Plum Bay beach on the one side and the Baie Longue on the other. Trump Le Chateau des Palmiers, owned by Donald Trump, is just a few meters away. This is a very serene stretch of sand where you won’t find any cafes or restaurants. But you will still find them close – less than a 10-minute drive away.
