Its distinctive decor and vibe is evident from the use of ethereal bird nest lamps that hang from the ceilings, the showcase of shell necklaces in a bedroom, and the placement of exotic treasures and collectibles around the home by the owners who brought them back from their many sojourns. Guests will feel like they are transported to the many worldly and far-flung places that the owners have voyaged themselves, and the tasteful pieces of furniture and furnishings blend in very well to the natural beauty of St Barth.

Bedrooms: With 4 bedrooms at Villa Ixfalia, they are spread over the main house and the freestanding building. Except for 1 room, all rooms are equipped with ensuite bathrooms and their own outdoor showers. Guests will find 2 rooms on one side of the living area that is opposite the kitchen and the 3rd on the side with the kitchen, while the final room occupies its own freestanding building, which comes with a bathtub and its private outdoor space for its occupants.

Outdoors: The unusually-shaped heated swimming pool affords guests with some of the best, unobstructed sea views out there. Perched just next to the wooden deck that is fitted with sunbeds in a row, the feeling of relaxation here is heavenly. A patch of grassy green lawn with swaying palm trees occupies a side perimeter of the home, while all around the surroundings are more lazy and comfortable lounge couches for guests to chill, hang around and marvel at the dramatic skyline and sunsets.

Indoors: There is a tranquil Zen atmosphere that oozes out from the sumptuous, exotic interiors, possibly from the way it is designed and laid out. At the main house, guests will find the convivial indoor and outdoor living spaces that transcend seamlessly from inside to outside and vice versa, thanks to its open plan layout where sea breezes can also waft through effortlessly into the villa. The living area itself is a conversational piece for the abundance of solid wood materials and straw elements for its decor and other furnishings that are the proud centrepiece displays. Adjacent to this is the dining hall with its solid wood long dining table. Cocooned in one corner is the breakfast bar with its marble surface top and uniquely-carved bar stools that unveils behind it thefully-equipped kitchen in its professional and clean walnut wood look for its cabinets and drawers.

Staff Quarters: Guests at Villa Ixfalia will be pampered with a host of services. For example, upon guests’ arrival and departure, they will be personally met and escorted to and fro the villa’s grounds, while an in-house concierge team that operates 24/7 will attend to any requests and support with even the most trivial of details that guests desire. There is also a housekeeping team that performs cleaning on a daily basis with the exception of Sundays and public holidays.
