Bedrooms: All bedrooms at the Villa Il Pettirosso are furnished in a cosy, cottage-style with wooden walls, ceiling beams and warm lighting. Visitors will love taking up breath-taking mountain and sea views from the shuttered windows. The master bedroom is located on the second floor and is accessible by a graceful spiral staircase. It is furnished with a king-sized bed and from this room, guests have access to a private terrace, perfect for sipping a morning coffee and admiring the views. The other two bedrooms are located on the second floor. One is an ensuite double room with a queen-sized bed, and the other is a small children’s room with one single bed.

Outdoors: Guests will love Villa Il Pettirosso’s peaceful garden, hidden away on the lush hillside. The grounds offer panoramic views of the Apuan Alps and the Mediterranean Sea, which they can admire from their own private olive grove. For an active vacation, or just to offer respite from the summer sun, the grounds feature a 2.5×5 metre swimming pool. Travellers can end the day together by eating an Italian meal at their shaded al fresco dining area.

Indoors: Villa Il Pettirosso is beautifully designed in a rustic cottage style, which prioritises the comfort of the guests at every turn. On the ground floor, guests will find a living room with a large sofa and TV, in front of the gorgeous country-style kitchen, laid with emerald green tiles. The bedrooms are found on the first and second floors, which are connected by an elegant spiral staircase.

Staff Quarters: When you decide to stay at Villa Il Pettirosso, your booking price includes all essentials of towels and linens, utilities, WiFi, parking and garden maintenance. For an additional fee, guests can arrange cleaning services in the middle and at the end of their stay.

Just outside the villa, visitors can also enjoy hiking in the unspoiled Apuan Alps. Just 30 minutes away by car are the UNESCO listed villages of the Cinque Terre, which are popular among tourists for both rustic and gourmet dining, boat trips and water sports. For Visitors wanting to adventure further afield, Lucca, Pisa and Florence are also feasible day trips, where travellers can discover centuries of artistic heritage.
