The manor house has four bedrooms, arranged as two double rooms, a single room and a luxurious master suite with an ensuite bathroom with a standing tub and a private terrace. Il Giardino Ritrovato also has a separate annexe, perfect for grandparents or another branch of the family, which is home to another double bedroom.
Outdoors: Since the meaning of the villa’s name means ‘the Rediscovered Garden,’ you’ll be expecting a lush paradise outside your back door in which you can while away the days amid beautiful natural scenery. Well, the private grounds at Il Giardino Ritrovato will not disappoint. Verdant rolling lawns and landscaped gardens rub shoulders with sunny patios and terraces so you have plenty of space to enjoy either a convivial or private ambience. Begin the morning in the most tranquil way possible: a stroll beneath blossoming archways, among lanes of curved tree trunks. When the sky reaches its apex, take a dip in the 72 square metre swimming pool or sunbathe on a poolside lounger. When dinner time rolls around and the sky is painted magenta and orange by the sunset, head up to the first-floor dining terrace to enjoy a meal with a sea view.
Indoors: The interiors at Il Giardino Ritrovato are designed in a charming, traditional style that is bound to transport you far from the hassle of modern-day concerns. You’ll likely spend much of your time indoors in the grand sitting room, where you can lounge on the ornate sofas while planning the activities of the day with your fellow travellers. Known worldwide for its fortified wines, the town is home to plenty of excellent restaurants and sunny terraces to sample the local delicacies. As you wander the streets, take in the majesty of the beautiful Baroque architecture, much of which dates back to the 15th century. As a coastal town, there’s also a wide range of golden-sand beaches within the vicinity, offering warm, shallow waters that the whole family can enjoy.
