Bedrooms: From the moment you wake up each day at Villa Greta, you’ll find yourself immersed in the lap of luxury. The seven bedrooms are all masterfully designed in a gorgeous modern style, with contemporary artwork, signature lighting fixtures and designer furniture pieces. The master bedroom is located in the manor house as are four other bedrooms. The master suite is a vision of modern luxury, with a plush king-sized bed facing a widescreen, wall-mounted TV. The room also has a jacuzzi in front of a glamorous living wall as well as an ensuite bathroom. Elsewhere within the manor house are three further double rooms and a twin room with two single beds. The annexe can be treated as its own residence and can sleep four guests across a double and twin room.

Outdoors: The sprawling private grounds at Villa Greta are the definition of deluxe tranquillity under the glorious Sicilian sunshine. Admire the stunning views as you take advantage of the early morning rays with a stroll on the emerald lawn. Perhaps you’d like to park up on a deck chair to work a little on your tan before the day reaches its full heat. With the sun high in the wide blue yonder, take a dip in the magnificent 168 square metre pool to while away the day in the cool embrace of the water. With a shallow end and plenty of poolside seating from which a grown-up can supervise, the pool is safe even for the littlest travellers in the group. When the sun begins to set over the rugged mountain peaks, what better way to wind down than with a barbecue feast enjoyed around the al fresco dining table? Finally, with the children in bed, call the adults up to the first-floor terrace to end the evening with a glass of wine under the stars.

The main living area is a beautifully designed open-concept living room, dining room and kitchen, featuring all the essentials that you need to enjoy a stress-free holiday wrapped up in splendid fittings and furnishings. The living area is dominated by an enormous L-shaped couch which offers enough space for the whole family to lounge in comfort in front of the wide-screen TV. Separating the living room from the kitchen/dining area is a magnificent standing fireplace which perfectly matches cosiness with modern luxury. The kitchen has everything that a culinary enthusiast could dream of to try their hand at the local cuisine, as well as a generous wine fridge for those excited to sample Sicilian wines. Elsewhere within the house, Villa Greta offers excellent wellness facilities including a sauna and home gym, which are bound to bring your experience of a relaxing getaway to the next level.

Staff Quarters: During your stay at Villa Greta, you’ll be treated to five-star service by the cleaning team, who will provide mid-week and final cleaning and changes of linens, as well as the dedicated VillaFinder concierge. When you arrive at the house, you’ll find air-conditioning, WiFi and private parking waiting for you to make your holiday a delight, as well as a warm welcome by a greetings basket of breakfast items.

Location: Villa Greta is located just outside the Mediaeval hilltop town of Taormina, which offers travellers everything from fabulous authentic dining to dramatic scenery and rugged cliffs. The town is a particular favourite of history lovers, as it is home to several historic buildings including an ancient Greek theatre which is still in use today. If you’d like to enjoy a day at the seaside, there are a number of golden sand beaches within easy driving distance of the villa, offering warm, shallow waters and family-friendly activities including diving, snorkelling and boating.
