Bedrooms: With 4 bedrooms at the villa, they sleep 8 guests. The walls of all rooms are painted in pretty pink or pastel blue, juxtaposed against rustic cotto-tile flooring and wooden beam ceilings – elements that come together to conjure an atmosphere of old nostalgia with tradition. They can all be found upstairs on the first floor, made up of a Master Bedroom with an ensuite bathroom including a bathtub, 2 other double bedrooms and the final one that is configured with twin bedding. Meanwhile, the bathrooms possess the quality of antiquity like they were inherited straight off from the villa’s ancient heritage.

Outdoors: Step outside the villa and guests will be most impressed by the private and large swimming pool measuring 12m X 6m that has been installed with a salt water system and is set in one of the most breathtaking positions overlooking the Lucca countryside made up of olive groves and vineyards. Just in front of the property, guests have at their disposal a spacious and well-covered terrace area that is perfect for alfresco dining, with an authentic wood oven that guests can also make use of with the help of the house manager.

Indoors: Built over 2 floors, the entire architecture and design of the villa has been restored with full respect to the local Tuscan tradition, which includes elements like the antique wooden beam ceilings and cotto floors present in most rooms. It exceptionally showcases the best example of a stone-based and built property, starting with the large sitting room that was conceived in an old cellar and features a large screen television, and the equally large dining room as well as the kitchen with a fireplace to boot.

Staff Quarters: Guests can connect to free WiFi Internet and Sat-tv channels, and should they require any other support such as with tours or restaurant bookings, they are free to reach out to the Salogi team of staff for support. The villa is also pet-friendly which means guests can bring their furry friends to stay at the villa should they like to.

Location: Villa Giannello is located nearest to the town of Matraia that is just 0.1km, while the main city of Lucca is only about 13km. This property is also an ideal base for guests to make their way to visit some of the most beautiful and historical villas of which this part of the Lucchese countryside is known for. One of these villas is Villa Reale, where Napoleon Bonaparte’s sister Elisa who is also Princess of Lucca resided. For some bakery needs or dining out options, there is also a bread shop and a restaurant conveniently located between 1km and 1.5km away.
