With idyllic views of the Mediterranean in one direction and the Apuan Alps in the other, Villa Gardenia is the perfect base for a slow-paced vacation in the countryside, or from which to explore all that the diverse regions of Liguria and Tuscany have to offer.

Bedrooms: Both bedrooms at the Villa Gardenia Liguria are furnished in a traditional rustic style , with ceiling beams, artworks and elegant wooden furniture. Both also feature double beds, onsite bathrooms and air conditioning , combining the heritage Italian style with modern comfort and convenience. The first-floor bedroom has access to an adjoining terrace, where guests will enjoy taking breakfast or sipping an espresso under the sunshade. The second bedroom is found upstairs and boasts an ensuite bathroom with a sauna and stunning views from the shuttered window.

Outdoors: As its name would suggest, the gardens are one the true highlights of the Villa Gardenia Liguria. Located on 2000 square metres of private land, nestled among hillside olive groves, the Villa’s outside areas are fragrant with a lush, professionally maintained garden, featuring seasonal, native flowers and an organic vegetable patch. Visitors have access to a jacuzzi pool from which they can admire the wonderful sea views. When evening comes around, the family can gather for a meal outside under the rustic wooden gazebo at the large, al fresco dining table.

Indoors: The villa is arranged on three levels and is consistently designed in an elegant rustic style. On the ground floor, guests will find a kitchen/living room that opens straight onto the patio. The kitchen is fully modernised with an oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, toaster and espresso machine. Here visitors will also find the indoor dining room, which is bathed in light through the floor to ceiling windows which look onto the gardens. Special attention in the design has been paid to the comfort of guests, and thus the villa has a warm and inviting atmosphere, reflected through soft, cosy furnishings and original architectural features such as wooden beams and archways.

Staff Quarters: Linens, towels and bathrobes are provided as part of the booking price. Guests can also take advantage of air conditioning, garden maintenance and parking free from additional cost. Heating and cleaning can also be provided for an additional charge at the guests’ convenience.

Location: Villa Gardenia is located on a quiet, secluded hillside above the romantic Gulf of Poets, and within close reach of the historic villages of the Cinque Terre. The nearest town is Casana, where visitors will find a small supermarket, pharmacy, post office and boutique shops. Venturing toward the sea, guests will enjoy the beautiful beaches of Versilia and the marble quarries of Carrara, both of which are within 20 minute’s drive. There are regular boat trips from the Marina di Carrara to popular tourist destinations of Portovenere and Portofino, where guests can enjoy diverse dining options, and excellent shopping and cultural experiences.
