Bedrooms: You’ll love the four bedrooms at Etna Retreat, each of which is masterfully designed to have a cosy, welcoming ambience. The rooms are designed in a timeless style that matches modern and traditional aesthetics with features such as grand, mansion-style furniture, gold accents and terracotta tiling. Of the four bedrooms, two are double rooms, one is a twin room and one is a loft suite which features a double bed. All four of the bedrooms are ensuite, though the loft suite has an especially spacious bathroom, featuring both a bathtub and a shower.

Outdoors: If you want to know why this villa is called Etna Retreat, just step outside into your private garden and admire the stunning mountain views that surround you. Nestled among the rolling field, citrus groves and quaint villages of the Sicilian countryside, to relax on one of your sun loungers or in the outdoor living room is to truly experience being close to nature. There are three main areas in the garden. The first is a large courtyard with an al fresco dining table where you can appreciate the historic farmhouse architecture. The second area is a rolling lawn, dotted with loungers, and perfect for a homemade picnic. Finally, the pièce de résistance of the property is the vast swimming pool where you cool off while taking in the views.

Indoors: Designed in a classic farmhouse style which perfectly matches the original architectural features, from the moment you step inside Etna Retreat you’ll feel as though you’ve been transported back to a simpler time. The spacious lounge is the perfect place to spend time with your fellow travellers as you recline on the plush couches. This main living area is open-plan, so while you watch TV in the living area, you can still chat with your family member as they prepare a delicious meal in the fully-equipped kitchen. With the full range of modern amenities and appliances at your fingertips, the meals that you and your family enjoy around the formal dining table are bound to delight your tastebuds.

Staff Quarters: Your stay at Etna Retreat will be made all the more stress-free and relaxing with the help of the villa’s housekeeping team and the range of amenities on offer at the house. You’ll be treated to cleaning every other day as well as changes of towels and sheets on either a weekly or twice weekly basis. Guests will also have access to WiFi, air-con and a welcome basket. Location: Etna Retreat is located among the splendid mountains and rolling landscape of Sicily, making this the perfect choice for travellers who enjoy immersing themselves in mother nature. The nearest village is Castiglione di Sicilia which is easily accessible by car. This quaint mountain commune is a true off-the-beaten-track delight, characterised by stunning views, historic buildings and cosy restaurants. The surrounding area is rich with hiking and cycling trails for those who like an active holiday, however, if you’d like to take a beach day, head to the golden sands of Fiumefreddo beach which is just 25km away.
