Villa Caye Blanche

Villa Caye Blanche is a seven-bedroom, hillside villa located in Anse Marcel. The property consists of two halves connected by a lobby area. One side houses six of the bedrooms, while the other is a place for the kitchen, living, and dining areas, as well as the larger master suite.

Guests can enjoy their meal on the alfresco dining table, relaxing on the sun loungers, or swimming laps, while overlooking the sea and the mountain next to the property. If that wasn’t enough, most of the rooms are ocean-facing, too! So there’s no reason for someone to not be able to enjoy the gorgeous views without leaving the comfort of their beds.

From the villa, it is a short drive to the beach. It is a good destination for guests looking to do some water activities. From there, and also the villa, one can see the coast of the island of Anguilla across the distant waters.

Bedrooms: The two-level property houses seven bedrooms, each with its own ensuite. Five of the seven rooms have ocean views, while the other two face the front garden. The upper-level rooms with outside access can go to the terrace by entering through the lobby area. Each bedroom is fitted with an air conditioner, smart TV, and safety deposit boxes. A beautiful painting sets the colour palette in each room, which compliments the wooden furniture in it, namely the king-sized bed and rattan chairs and light fixtures. Rooms on the upper level have their own balconies.

Outdoors: The well-groomed front garden with stepping stones is connected to the terrace via an open lobby area. The terrace area houses the wooden deck and a large, irregular-shaped swimming pool. The wooden deck is divided into an alfresco dining area, near the kitchen, and a general place for sun loungers, closer to the pool. Decorative shrubs and smaller trees fill the sparse area around the pool and beyond, adding to the beautiful view of the sea and the mountain, just to the left of the property. A flight of stairs on the left side of the villa (as one enters the garden) is an access point for the upper-level rooms on that side of the villa.

Indoors: All rooms on the lower level of the property are fitted with sliding glass doors, so guests can immediately access the pool area without going back through the lobby. The lobby itself is an access point for the living, kitchen, and dining areas, as well as the master suite upstairs. The kitchen, tucked next to the alfresco dining area, is fully equipped with the latest appliances: oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee machine and more. The living area is to the right hand side of the lobby (as you walk in from the garden), marked by the sofa on the half landing, fitted with railing. On the opposite side of the lobby are two rattan chairs and a small table, situated by the small palm tree planted inside the building.

Staff Quarters: There is a property manager staying on-site by the villa. Concierge service is provided to assist with logistics. If there is an equipment problem happening at the villa, guests can call the maintenance service. On arrival, welcome baskets are gifted to the guests. Wifi runs throughout the property. Sheets and towels are constantly changed by the staff. The laundry room, containing a washer, dryer, and iron, is available for use.

Location: Anse Marcel, where the property is located, is a quieter beach than the ones on the Dutch side of the island of Saint Martin. The waters are shallower, perfect for guests to bring their children swimming along. It takes 4 minutes by car to reach it. A good cluster of restaurants is reachable by a 5-minute drive from the villa. The town and grocery shops are 20-minute and 10-minute car rides respectively. Guests from outside the French Antilles will arrive from the Princess Juliana International Airport, over on the Dutch side, and take a 30-minute drive to get to Villa Caye Blanche.
