Elsewhere in the bedrooms, you’ll find several practical amenities, such as an iron, ironing board and hair drying, as well as a safe so you can be sure that your valuable items are secure. For your ultimate comfort and convenience, both rooms have an ensuite bathroom, complete with attractive, modern fixtures and fittings.

Outdoors: The outdoor areas at Villa Birdy have a sense of both openness and privacy, owing to the splendid panoramic views across the bay as well as the tropical plants and trees which hug the edges of the terrace. This is the perfect place to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air in the company of your fellow travellers. Begin the day with a cup of fresh juice and a bowl of fruit as you recline on a sun lounger, and head over to the glistening swimming pool when the afternoon heat begins to rise. With two distinct al fresco dining spaces, one overlooking the ocean and the other tucked away in a lush garden you can suit the ambience of your evening meal to your mood.

You’ll likely spend much of your time indoors in the room, which can be completely opened onto the terrace by retracting the sliding doors which typically draw a line between interior and exterior spaces. With the wall full open and a pleasant sea breeze driving into the air-conditioned living area, this is the perfect place to relax on the sofa, watch a movie on the wide-screen TV or enjoy the company of a good book. As well as the two al fresco dining tables, you have another dining area inside around which you can choose to tuck into a family meal. Pointe Milou is well positioned between two of the island’s most popular beaches, Lorient Bay and Grand Cul-de-Sac, around both of which travellers will find several drinking and dining options, as well as opportunities to take part in beach and water sports activities.
