You can now stay in this stunning holiday rental for as long as you want. It can sleep a group of 10 guests in its 5 bedrooms. The villa is on the outskirts of Galle, which is a major city on the southwestern coast of Sri Lanka. During your stay here, you can easily visit the city and see many of its attractions and also the nearby beaches. It is close to the city center of Galle, but Armitage Hill still has lush greenery surrounding it. Classic elegance, the décor, views, and location… this property gets high scores in every category.

Bedrooms: Luxury blends with great aesthetics making the sleeping areas special. All 5 bedrooms in Villa Armitage Hill are special. They all have large king beds, so an extended family of 10 guests can sleep easily in this property. They are in a separate pavilion away from the common areas of this plantation house. Three bedrooms have antique four-posters, while the others have modern beds.
In the impressive master suite, you will find a library and seating area. Objects of art and sculptures decorate the space. Several bedrooms open to the garden. There are also floor-to-ceiling windows that offer wonderful nature views, which is a highlight of this villa. All the bedrooms are ensuite and air-conditioned. The bathrooms have showers. The one with the master suite has a bathtub.
Outdoors: The exterior environment is harmonized with the architecture of the villa to maximize its beauty and make your holiday something much more than what the word defines. You will find many places where friends and family can come together and enjoy the lush greenery, which is a tropical treasure of Sri Lanka. The outdoor space of Armitage Hill is great if you have contemplation and rejuvenation in mind.
Take the swimming pool for instance. It looks very inviting and refreshing. A huge lawn surrounds the pool, which is fringed by a forest. The different pavilions are spread out through this greenery. You will find several loungers on the poolside where you can relax. There is also a shaded pavilion and a verandah with outdoor dining and lounging areas.
Indoors: You may want to pause momentarily and appreciate the traditional façade of the pavilions. Move to the main pavilion that houses the living room and you will be equally impressed. You will find many antiques and collectibles decorating the space. Several sculptures are laid-out throughout the interior. The living room, which is open on two sides, has a large sofa area for all ten guests. There is also a study table here.
The kitchen with many appliances is in its own pavilion. The formal dining table is huge. Up to 20 guests can easily have their meals here.
Staff Quarters: The villa has a private chef, so you don’t have to do any cooking. Ask the chef to prepare authentic Sri Lankan delicacies. If any member of the group has a health issue, then you can always ask the chef to prepare a special menu. The house also has a fire extinguisher, an iron, and an ironing board. A baby cot and a baby high chair are available for the convenience of a young family. The bedrooms have safes and the bathrooms have hair dryers and toiletries.
