This four bedroom, three bathroom farmhouse, offers breath-taking views of the entire Golf of Poets from an idyllic hillside location. Having recently undergone a two-year renovation, this villa boasts completely modernised cooking and plumbing facilities while maintaining original architectural features including brick archways, wooden beams and stone wall. The owners have beautifully preserved the typical Ligurian farmhouse style, making this an excellent choice for travellers seeking an authentic Italian experience without compromising comfort and luxury.

Bedrooms: Villa Ambrosia has four bedrooms and accommodates eight guests. All bedrooms boast stunning views down the hillside, over the village and out towards the Mediterranean. Like the rest of the house, each bedroom is decorated in the traditional Italian style, with attractive wooden furniture and rustic ceiling beams. The master bedroom is located on the second floor and is furnished with an elegant king-sized canopy bed. It is ensuite with a full bathroom, which includes a handsome victorian style bath and shower. Two of the other bedrooms also feature king-sized beds, with the fourth offering two twin beds, which can alternatively be set up as a double at the guests’ request.

Outdoors: Outside of the farmhouse, guests at Villa Ambrosia have access to a 1750 square metre private garden. This is an excellent place to enjoy a relaxing vacation, gazing out over the sea views, or sipping local wine on the patio. The outside space also features a magnificent pool area , surrounded by beautiful flowers and a herb garden. If guests want to escape the sun for a while, they will have the large patio sofa and al fresco dining set-up beneath an elegant canopy.

Indoors: The interior of Villa Ambrosia is consistently designed in a traditional farmhouse style, featuring real antiques, oak floors and homemade tiles. There are artworks in every room, and notable design pieces include a piano and a small chandelier. The living room features two large sofas and a flat-screen TV which receives international programming. For culinary enthusiasts, the villa offers a beautiful country-style kitchen , complete with a dishwasher, oven, microwave and professional five-ring gas stove. The four bedrooms and three bedrooms are located on the first and second floors.

Staff Quarters: When you choose to book a vacation at Villa Ambrosia, the price includes all essentials, including air conditioning, linens and towels, parking and garden maintenance. For an additional fee, guests can organise cleaning services or cooking classes.

Location: The Villa is located on a beautiful hillside in one of Italy’s most popular regions. There is a pathway directly from the gate which leads down to the gorgeous town of La Spezia where travellers can find shops, restaurants, bars and opportunities for boat trips or rentals. Guests looking for an active vacation can head up into the hills on several hiking trails through the olive groves and the villages of Cinque Terre. Within 20 minutes by car, guests can explore the popular tourist towns of Lerici, Montemarcello and the UNESCO world heritage listed Portovenere. Lucca, Florence and Pisa are all readable within two hours by car, making them great day trips for those who want to see beyond the immediate area.
