Bedrooms: The four bedrooms at Villa African Queen are classic and comfortable, each designed in a bright, timeless style. No matter which bedroom you pick, you’ll be treated to a royal experience, as you sleep on a plush queen-sized bed under cool air-conditioned air. Each bedroom has access to an ensuite bathroom with either a shower or a bathtub, as well as doors leading on a private terrace. Just like the rest of the villa, the bedrooms have a characteristic African flavour, brought through will wall decorations, rugs, colour schemes and carvings, which make this a truly unique experience on the island.

Outdoors: When you step outside of the sliding doors from the living room, you’ll feel as though you’re standing on the shore of a natural lagoon, as your eyes are immediately caught on the rock-edged swimming pool, the largest private swimming pool on Saint Barth. Indeed, you can see the Grand Etang lagoon from the comfort of your cool, private waters, if you peek between the exotic ferns and palm trees. Elsewhere in the garden, you can while away the days relaxing in the glowing sunlight from the comfort of a sun loungers, or enjoy a moment in the shade in the outdoor living area on the veranda. When evening falls there’s no need to head inside, as you’ve got a barbecue and large al fresco dining table so you can enjoy dinner under the sunset.

Indoors: As you might expect from the name of the house, the interiors at Villa African Queen are beautifully designed to reflect African design and aesthetics and are decorated with items the villa’s owner has collected on their travels around the continent. The living room is plush and spacious and is bathed in natural light by the floor-to-ceiling window and mirrors which bounce sunlight around the room. Here you’ll find several comfy sofas arranged for either socialisation or enjoying a movie night on the Smart TV. There’s also a gorgeous polished stone table around which you can enjoy meals cooked up in the adjoining fully-equipped kitchen. Foodies will be pleased to hear that the kitchen features a fridge-freezer, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher and more, so you can be fully self-catering.

Staff Quarters: While you enjoy your time on Saint Barth, you can rest assured that the villa is being taken care of by the excellent housekeeping team. If you would like to arrange any other services, such as driving services or babysitting, just contact the concierge.

Location: Villa African Queen is located in the sought-after neighbourhood of Anse du Grand Cul-de-Sac, on the banks of the Grand Etang lagoon. This neighbourhood is beloved for its beautiful Grand Cul-de-Sac beach, which will take your breath away with its silky, white sands and crystal-clear waves. The surrounding area offers a varied restaurant and bar scene which offers everything from classic Caribbean to gourmet French cuisine. As this is one of the premier hubs on the island, there are also plenty of oceanic and waterspouts activities to take part in, including reef snorkelling, paddle boarding and windsurfing.
