The Beach House
Description
The Beach House is a beachside property located in Kamburugamuwa, just outside of Mirissa. The property, owned by Reveal the Collection, boasts six bedrooms, each with its own ensuite. Five of the six bedrooms have access to the beautiful ocean view.
The villa has unique features in that it has two living areas. The downstairs living area is the bigger one, with two large couches and two sets of tables and chairs. The upstairs living area is smaller, yet still cosy. Both areas overlook the beach, thanks to the glass wall that spans from the ground floor all the way to the second floor’s ceiling. The Beach House also features two swimming pools; the larger one is accessible from the common areas, while the smaller one is only accessible from one of the ground floor bedrooms.
The property is close to many restaurants and shops in the area. Popular tourist attractions such as Parrot Rock and Coconut Tree Hill are reachable via a few minute’s car ride. There are also plenty of beaches other than the one the property sit on, where you can surf and snorkel.

Bedrooms: The property offers a total of six spacious bedrooms, each one is furnished with a king bed. The rooms also have enough space for a couple of lounge chairs and a decent wardrobe space. Ensuite bathrooms are attached to all six bedrooms. The occupants of five of the six bedrooms are privy to a panoramic ocean view, while the other bedroom has a balcony that faces the garden.
Outdoors: The property features three terraces that are separated by a couple of wooden fences. The small pavilion’s terrace has a stone path that leads directly to the beach. The second terrace is more private, with fences on both sides while still open to the beach view. It also features a smaller swimming pool. The last terrace area is the largest one, spanning two-thirds of the main building. You can sit on the outdoor couches here, or walk a few steps to jump into the larger swimming pool. Next to the pool is an alfresco dining area, covered by a patio umbrella. A number of daybeds line the beach area a few metres from the pool, giving you front row seats to the picturesque sea.
Indoors: The Beach House adopts the concept of family and togetherness. This is evident in the two living rooms that it has. The main area of the living room downstairs features two large plush couches that are facing each other. There’s an additional set of tables and chairs on both sides, with a flat screen TV mounted to the wall. The upstairs living room is smaller, but still has a cosy vibe nonetheless. The living areas are fitted with floor to ceiling glass doors on the ground level, extending to glass windows on the second floor. This way, you can always see the azure sea, no matter which living room you’re sitting in. The dining area is huge, kitted with a large dining table with many chairs and two additional tables. It’s no doubt that The Beach House is perfect for entertaining guests.
Staff Quarters: A service staff made up of the villa manager, a chef, a butler,a housekeeper and security guards will be available to assist you during your stay. You will receive a welcome gift and drink upon your arrival at The Beach House. Each bedroom in the house is fitted with an air conditioner. Wifi runs throughout the property. Free breakfast is provided every morning of your stay. Transport to and from the airport is included in the rental price.

Location: There are plenty of places to eat and shop near The Beach House. The Pub – Kamburugamuwa is just around the corner. Zephyr Ceylon is a trendy restaurant you should visit. If you need something, you can quickly go to the Savindi Trade Center. In terms of attractions, you should visit Parrot Rock and Coconut Tree Hill, or go whale watching and snorkelling.
