The location makes it a great choice for nature and sea lovers. The villa stands on the scenic Talpe Beach in Sri Lanka. Its long sandy shore, rock pools, and thick vegetation make this one of the most scenic spots on the island. Talpe, also called Thalpe, is very close to the southernmost point of Sri Lanka. It is between the historic fort town of Galle and the scenic Koggala Lake, so you can easily plan several day trips. Only a short drive away, you will find many other beautiful beaches.

Bedrooms: With 5 bedrooms, IF Villa can easily sleep up to 10 guests, making it an excellent choice for a family seaside vacation in Sri Lanka. You may host a small event too, like a birthday party, anniversary, or engagement party. The villa also accepts groups of friends. The bedrooms all have four-poster antique beds with high-quality mattresses and extra pillows for sleeping comfort. Three of them have doubles, while the others have singles that can be joined to create king beds. The doors and windows too have an antique design. Mosquito nets are provided.

All the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. Two of them are open-air bathrooms where the showering experience will certainly be unique.

Outdoors: With the beach and sea only a few steps away, you are sure to spend many hours outdoors, enjoying the views. From the sunrise to the sunset, every part of the day has something different to offer. Start your day walking in the garden for some green therapy. If you are traveling with family, you can be sure that the kids will love to run on the manicured lawn. The lawn extends all the way to the beachfront.

Later, you can have your morning coffee and breakfast in the sea-facing gazebo. It has a lovely couch and an antique coffee table. Several loungers with pergolas are placed on one side – they too face the beach. The house has a shaded wrap-around verandah with one portion having a lounging area, where you can go if you want to escape the midday sun. Another section of the verandah has an outdoor dining table for your alfresco lunch.

Indoors: The villa’s architecture, design, and classical elegance will surely please you. Each corner has been cleverly planned and decorated. Dutch antiques are everywhere. You will also find sculptures and indoor plants. The living room has plush sofas that invite you to sink in and relax. Large doors and windows allow the sea breeze to flood through the space. A tall beamed ceiling makes it even more airy. Spend quality time with your family here, relaxing, and planning what to see and do in Sri Lanka.

Another unique feature of IF Villa is its interior courtyard which has a wonderful fountain at the center. For you to enjoy the fountain, the villa owner has thoughtfully placed antique armchairs beside it.

Staff Quarters: IF Villa promotes stress-free holidays. Every finer detail is taken care of here. The housekeeping team will keep everything clean. Towels and linen will be changed. There is laundry service too. This luxury house has an iron, an ironing board, and a washing machine. Baby cots and baby high chairs are available on request. The villa manager can help you plan excursions and arrange transportation.

Location: IF Villa is directly on Talpe Beach. It is a famous beach because of the many rock pools that were cut off from corals and used for soaking coconut husks. You can visit the nearby Unawatuna Beach and Koggale Beach. The historic Galle Fort is a short drive away. You cannot miss this famous UNESCO World Heritage site of Sri Lanka. While in Galle, visit the galleries and boutique shops.
