Spacious yet intimate, convivial yet private, the Super Penthouse offers an experience of complete luxury and sophistication overlooking the stunning landscape of Southern Hokkaido. This seven-bedroom apartment is arranged over three floors, each of which is designed for either family living, quiet moments together or private relaxation. On the main floor you’ll find the gorgeous living room, outfitted with a distinct, curved couch and state-of-the-art audiovisual setup. Adjacent is the dining room and chef’s kitchen. This floor also features an onsen terrace, warmed by a fire pit. Travel down one floor, and the mood becomes calmer and more private. Here you’ll find the bar/games room, the master suite and a second fireplace terrace. The final floor is all about rest and wellness, with a sauna and two massage rooms, four more double rooms, a twin room, a bunk-bed room and a maid/nanny’s room.

Bedrooms: Each of the seven bedrooms at the Super Penthouse are designed to induce a feeling of soothing peace and security, with natural views overlooking the dramatic mountain landscape. All with bespoke furnishings and artworks for a truly unique finish and a modern ensuite bathroom for the utmost privacy and convenience, your private sanctuary will be an experience of opulence no matter which room you choose. The master bedroom is located on the second floor. Centring around a luxurious king-sized bed, raised slightly above a private living area with a fireplace, this is the perfect place to truly calm the mind and spirit. All of the other bedrooms are located on the lower floor and are arranged as four double rooms, one twin room and one bunk-bed room. This floor also features an ensuite nanny/maid room.

Outdoors: Commune with mother nature and enjoy the fresh chill of the mountain air when you step out onto one of the Super Penthouse’s many terraces. Located on the main floor, the largest and most luxurious terrace allows you the opportunity to soak in your own private infinity onsen as you gaze out over uninterrupted views of Mount Yotei. As the snow falls and you feel the bite of the winter chill, take a seat around the fire pit with your fellow travellers, for jokes, stories and plans about your getaway. This terrace also features a large al fresco dining table, where the whole family can enjoy a dinner with a view. While this main terrace seems to have it all, it’s not the only outdoor space to relax at the Super Penthouse. Accessible from the den and master bedrooms, you’ll find a second fire pit terrace, for those quieter moments of reflection and conversation. The lower floor also has its own small terrace: private or shared balconies adjacent to certain bedrooms.

Indoors: Your private slice of heaven arranged over three floors, the interiors at the Super Penthouse are designed, quite simply, to astound. Sophisticated and earthy in natural wood and leather tones, the design perfectly complements natural surroundings and panoramic mountain vistas just outside each window. You enter the apartment onto the highest floor, which is completely given over to convivial living space, envisioned to facilitate the whole family making memories together. The living room features a curved modern sofa, which offers enough space to comfortably seat the whole group, in front of a state-of-the-art TV. Elsewhere on this floor, you’ll find the kitchen and dining room, offering both bar seating and a large circular dining table where you can enjoy culinary delights hand-crafted by your private chef.

Take the stairs or elevator down one floor, and you’ve entered a more private world of bedrooms and quiet living areas. Here you’ll find the den, equipped with a fully operational bar, comfortable leather sofas and armchairs and a cards table. Finally, the lowest floor is a place to relax, featuring more bedrooms and wellness rooms. This is where you’ll head after a long day on the slopes for some much-needed rest and recuperation. Enjoy a bespoke spa treatment in one of the two massage rooms or take to the sauna and let the steam do its work.

Location: Located at the heart of Grand Hirafu Village, just 200 metres from the Hirafu gondola, The Super Penthouse is perfectly situated for you to make the most of the excellent slopes and gorgeous scenery of the Niseko United ski area. Offering 22 pistes and known for its reliable winter snowfall, this ski area is beloved by winter sports enthusiasts all over Japan and even internationally. The town itself is calm and picturesque, with plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes. You’ll also find an onsen and an art gallery if you’d like to experience a little of Japanese culture.
