Bedrooms: Cloisters is a two-storied villa with 4 luxurious bedrooms for 8 guests. Three of them have king beds, while the fourth has twins. The master suite is on the ground floor. It has an antique four-poster bed with a mosquito net. It opens to a wraparound terrace that offers stunning nature views. On this terrace, you will also find a yoga pavilion. The second bedroom with the twin beds is perfect for young children. The two beds are placed one above the other but not in a typical bunk style. There is also a small library here. These two bedrooms share a common bathroom with a shower.

Upstairs, you will find the two remaining bedrooms. They both feature four-poster beds, work desks, seating areas, and ensuite bathrooms with outdoor showers. The third bedroom additionally has armchairs placed on a terrace.

Outdoors: This luxury home offers plenty of space for an extended family of 8. The swimming pool is in a central courtyard with the rooms all placed around it. This is a fabulous place to unwind and catch the warm sun. Grab a lounger and spend many lazy hours relaxing. You will find many loungers placed around the pool in a garden. The garden extends all the way to the beach, providing private access. Just beyond this garden, there is also an outdoor dining table under a shaded verandah.

There is a second terrace on the beachfront with loungers, pergolas, and a sofa area. You will have fabulous views of the ocean from here. Elsewhere, almost an acre of the house has a lush tropical garden with many tall trees and flowering plants. The landscaped ground is a true tropical haven.

Indoors: It’s a huge rental villa with plenty of space for the 8 guests. Each floor of the house has a living room with a sofa. The ground-floor living room opens to the pool terrace, garden, and eventually the beach. The first-floor living room opens to a long balcony. They both have a warm and cozy ambiance. With two lounging areas, you can be sure that the villa is never going to feel cramped. Of course, there are other lounging spaces outside too.

The formal dining space is in one corner of the ground-floor living room. It has an antique wooden table with chairs for the entire family. The kitchen is huge. It has a two-burner induction stovetop, sink, small fridge, roaster, and wine fridge. Many glasses and plates are supplied.

Staff Quarters: Cloisters Villa was designed by Shayan Kumaradas, a famous architect of Sri Lanka. The focus is always on your comfort and convenience. You will never be on your own here. There is a maid service six days a week. There is also a butler service. All the beds have mosquito nets. There is a strong Wi-Fi internet. The mobile signal is also good throughout the estate. The indoor/outdoor shower lets you enjoy the beautiful starry nights of Sri Lanka.

Location: This luxury villa is a seaside property on the Galle-Matara Road. Galle has a beautiful Dutch fort, which is a UNESCO Heritage Site. You should also see the lighthouse and Portuguese-era buildings. Around the house, you will find many beautiful beaches like Unawatuna, Mihiripenna, and Thalpe.
