Bedrooms: The ground floor at Echo Rocks is given over to four spacious bedrooms, each of which is designed in a bright, natural style in snowy white and wood tones. With large windows looking out over the lawn and out towards the mountains, your room is filled with a fresh, sunny glow as the sunlight radiates off the crystal snow on the ground. The arrangement of the rooms is completely customisable, meaning you can decide whether each room has one double or two twin beds. With this level of flexibility, Echo Rocks is the perfect choice of accommodation for families and friendship groups of all shapes and characters. Finally, if you’re bringing along a nanny or maid, they’ll also have their own single bedroom, accessible through the laundry room.

Outdoors: Located in a quaint, exclusive clearing just a few minutes walk from the main street of Echoland, Echo Rocks is surrounded by verdant, tree-lined lawns which are hidden from passers-by. Head out into this quiet garden for a few peaceful moments in the morning, as you breathe in the crisp Alpine air and listen to the still silence of the mountain. After a few moments of bliss, call out your fellow travellers to help you build a snowman, or head back inside to prepare a cup of warm tea, which you can enjoy around the al fresco dining table on the first-floor balcony. Completely private and overlooking stunning panoramic views, where better to begin and end the day than under the endless Alpine sky?

Indoors: Located on the first floor, the open-plan living/dining room and kitchen is the very epitome of chic, modern stylings, overlooking stunning Alpine scenery. After a thrilling day tearing up the slopes or hiking in the scenic mountains, settle in for a cosy evening in front of the wide-screen TV, curled up on one of the two plush sofas. The living area is particularly bright and open, illuminated by floor-to-ceiling windows which almost bring the magic of the Japanese Alps into your living room. On the other side of the main room, you’ll find the full-equipped kitchen which offers the full range of Japanese and European-style appliances that you’ll need to enjoy a fully self-sufficient holiday. Whether you’re planning a full, home-cooked meal or just a light snack before heading out into town, gather the whole group around the large dining table for the perfect convivial dinner together.

Staff Quarters: When you stay at Echo Rocks, you’ll have a wide range of amenities at your disposal and be looked after by a villa team. Your rubbish will be collected daily, and you can arrange arrival pick-up and departure drop-off with Hakuba free of charge. The villa has high-speed WiFi and there is air-conditioning and underfloor heating in all rooms. Location: Echo Rocks is brilliantly situated at the heart of Hakuba, within walking distance of the ski lifts. This town has been known worldwide since the 1998 Winter Olympics, and is renowned for its excellent pistes, snow quality and lifts. It has particularly brilliant cross-country and ski jumping facilities. If you’d like to enjoy a night out, the town has a lively bar and restaurant scene offering everything from casual pubs to epic nightclubs.
